Child Safety Standards

1. Our Commitment
YourDarshan ("we", "our", "us") has zero tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE), including any form of child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, trafficking, or any other content or behavior that exploits or endangers minors. We are committed to preventing, detecting, reporting, and removing such content and actors from our platform.
2. Prohibited Content & Conduct
The following are strictly prohibited on YourDarshan:
- Any sexual content involving, depicting, or sexualizing minors (under 18).
- Grooming, solicitation, or any inappropriate contact with minors.
- Sharing, requesting, or distributing CSAM in any form.
- Sextortion, blackmail, or coercion of minors.
- Trafficking, smuggling, or exploitation of minors.
- Content that normalizes, glorifies, or promotes the sexual abuse of minors.
- Inappropriate interactions between adults and minors.
3. Age Requirements
- YourDarshan requires users to be at least 13 years of age to create an account.
- Users under 18 are prohibited from sharing personally identifying information publicly.
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
4. Detection & Prevention Measures
We employ a multi-layered approach to keep our platform safe:
- AI-Powered Moderation: All user-generated content (posts, images, comments, profile photos, direct messages) is automatically scanned using AI moderation systems trained to detect CSAE and inappropriate content.
- Image Verification: Profile photos and uploaded images undergo automatic verification to detect harmful or inappropriate material.
- Human Moderation: Flagged content is reviewed by trained human moderators.
- Behavioral Monitoring: We monitor for grooming patterns, suspicious account activity, and abuse indicators.
- Direct Messaging Safeguards: Anti-abuse guardrails are in place across our messaging system.
- Account Verification: Account creation includes verification steps to deter bad actors.
5. Reporting Mechanism
Users can report CSAE content or any child-safety concern through:
All reports are treated as the highest priority and are reviewed promptly. Reporters' identities are kept confidential.
6. Response & Enforcement
When CSAE content or behavior is detected or reported, we will:
- Immediately remove the offending content.
- Permanently ban and delete the offender's account(s).
- Preserve evidence in compliance with applicable law.
- Report the incident to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via the CyberTipline, where required.
- Report to the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal of India (cybercrime.gov.in) for incidents involving Indian users.
- Cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies worldwide.
7. Compliance with Law
YourDarshan complies with all applicable child-safety laws and regulations, including but not limited to:
- The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 (India).
- The Information Technology Act, 2000 and IT Rules, 2021 (India).
- The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) (USA).
- 18 U.S.C. § 2258A — mandatory reporting of CSAM to NCMEC.
- The EU Digital Services Act (DSA) and applicable regulations in jurisdictions where we operate.

Our moderation team and staff who handle user content receive regular training on identifying CSAE indicators, secure handling of sensitive material, and proper escalation procedures. All staff are bound by strict confidentiality obligations.
